Strokes
What is topspin and back spin? and how to do topspin and backspin? it is only do in serves or we can do in rally?
Hi Sohail-Ali,
Topspin is where the ball is rotating in a forward motion. Backspin is the reverse of this.
You can do this on your serve or in the rally as well.
Take a look at our lessons on the Strokes & Techniques page to see more about the topspin and backspin. The push and chop strokes use backspin.
When your opponent plays a short ball to your forehand, you can play an attacking stroke by using the flick. This stroke is also known as the flip.
