sir i have problem with hitting topspin when the ball is short in lesson forehand topspin against backspin i learn that by brushing the ball i can hit a topspin but when i brush the ball it goes two or three times than it is out of the table or on the net.

Hi Siddhartha,

This takes a bit of practice because the spin and placement of the ball may change a little each time.  After some practice you will start to recognise the slight variations.  First just make sure you are getting the stroke right.  The start and finish positions are the key.  If you put plenty of spin on the ball and hit it slowly, you will get good margin for error over the net.  The topspin will drag the ball down onto the table.
