When the ball is slow but still long, when I try to topspin the ball, the ball directly goes into the net. My question is, how to play a topspin against long but slow balls.

Thanks,

Hi Kaustubh,

For the slower ball you need to generate a bit of speed yourself by going more forward with your contact.  As you swing, rotate your body forward or get your bat to push more forward to generate the speed to get it over the net.  Make sure you are still generating topspin so that the ball dips onto the other side.
