Hi alois,

My topspin usually goes directly into the net although I do the follow through correctly.  Can you tell me any reasons for this?  How can I overcome this defect?  It's destroying my game and I give about 5-6 points to the opponent due to this.Help!!!

Hi Umar,

Difficult without seeing it but some things that may be happening are that the rubber on your bat may not have grip or you may just have the angle of your bat titled a little too far forward.

Rub your finger over the rubber and feel if it has any grip on it.  If it has, then try just tilting the angle of your bat a little back.  The adjustment won’t need to be very much.

If the ball is too low turn your angle back even further to lift it over the net.
