Topspin off backspin

Strategy

Hi Alois,

When top spinning off backspin is the ball spinning in the same direction every shot and therefore gets harder to return after several shots because each stroke is increasing the spin on the ball. If this so then should you alternate from topspin to backspin.

Hi Russell,

Yes the more spin you get with your topspin the more spin will tend to come back.  It is a good idea to vary the amount of spin and even push every now and then to break it up.

Hi Alois

I tried pushing a ball back in a rally against a chopper which worked out well. It made the next topspin easier

to deal with.
