is topspin more effective or sidespin more effective in an against topspin shot?

Hi Abdul,

The sidespin can be effective but it is a more risky stroke.  To start with you are better to play a straight topspin stroke.  When you are comfortable with this then you can experiment with a sidespin topspin.
