hi,i have been playing table tennis for 2 years now and i never got the hang of a good top spin serve i looked in the videos section the was no video for it so can you help.

Hi Emre,

The idea with a topspin serve is to get it short and fast and still have topspin on the ball.

A long topspin serve is just an invitation to be attacked. 

To get topspin on your short serve you need to brush up on the ball.  If you think about the pendulum serve, hit it later in the swing because this is when the bat is moving in an upward direction.
