Topspin Serve and Equipment

Is it better to serve topspin to your opponents forehand or backhand side?

Which side is more effective and why?

And, what blade and rubbers are you using?

Hi Alex,

The best side to serve it is the side they like the least.  You need to serve to both sides and see which they find easier.  There is no set rule here.  you need to work it out for each opponent  that you play.

I use an old Power Drive blade at the moment and Mark V XS rubber.  But as you will see i don;t play competitively any more.
