Strokes

Hi coach,

Am I allowed to touch the racket with my free hand to switch up my grip mid-rally? Like if I serve with a penhold grip then use my free hand to touch the racket and switch up to shakehand grip. Is this allowed?

Thanks

Hi Feras,

Yes that is permitted.  Some players do this however, I think try to have a grip that you can change easily without having to rely on you other hand as this will be slow and you will run out of time in a faster rally.
