Strokes

Hi coach,

Am I allowed to touch the racket with my free hand to switch up my grip mid-rally? Like if I serve with a penhold grip then use my free hand to touch the racket and switch up to shakehand grip. Is this allowed?

Thanks

Hi Feras,

Yes that is permitted. Β Some players do this however, I think try to have a grip that you can change easily without having to rely on you other hand as this will be slow and you will run out of time in a faster rally.
