How long or how many times a week should I be training to become an advanced player?

Hi Jamie,

The top players train 5 to 6 days a week for 4 to 6 hours a day.

However, it is always important to consider your own circumstances.  If some of us try to do that we would break down very quickly.  You also need to consider how much time you have available for training.  You can only do what you can do...
