Training
Hi Alois,
I live in an appartment so I have no space enough for a ping pong table. But I would like to know if a mini-table can help training, in which way, and what are the kind of progress it can help to develop.
Do you use it yourself sometimes ?
Best regards,
Gilbert
Hi Gilbert,
A mini table can help with improving your touch and feel for the ball. You could also set up a small table against the wall and just practice your serves into the wall bouncing first on the table.
I have never used a mini table for training but we do use the a lot in classrooms for younger students.
Work on you variation of spin and speed. Against blockers it's really important you don't always play the same pace. They are relying on your speed.
