Serving
Dear Mr. Rosario and Mr. Plumb.
Last month I won second place at college table tennis championship in my city. This is a very humble tournament in a small college, but it was very important for me. Everybody told me that my service was the best one. This is thanks your great videos. I won a lot of points with my serve ( specially with my backhand serve, by disguising backspin / sidespin / topspin as you show me) and third ball attack by looping long returns.
Now, how can I keep improving my serve? Next summer I will practice it one hour, every day, every month. But what should I practice?
1. Backhand serve adding long and fast / short no spin serves?
2. Pendulum serve with windscreen movement to disguise sidespin direction?
3. Learning a new serve like Ma Lin ghost serve?
4. No new serve, only the old ones, placement and passing the ball close to the net practicing?
I know it´s difficult to advice me, the question is: How to use training time? I think the goals and objectives must be reasonably and accessible. This is about skills level and time to practicing. How much time takes to learn serves like ghost serve or windscreen pendulum serve?. I´m worried because I supose that both serves are very difficult and take a lot of time learning them. May be It takes too much time, too much for me.
Thank you very much.
Carlos.

Hi Alois,
Haré lo que tú dices.
I want to ask you one more question but I ´m getting crazy trying to express myself in english, I´m sorry:
What´s about pendulum serve and fade sidespin? Windscreen movement is so difficult as it appears?
Thank you very much.
Best regards from Spain.
Carlos
