Training
Hi!
Is it ok to practice with the same partner every time?
Thanks!
Hi Gicu,
It is OK but if you have the option to train with other players then it will help you develop.
If you are playing with the same player you will start to pick up cues of that person's play and anticipate things they are likely to do. When you start playing different players you may find that you are moving in the wrong direction.
When playing a game it is about how quickly you can adapt to your opponent.
Unless you are a defender you won't be practicing chopping regularly. However the chop is a great way to stay in the point if you are out of position and is also a difficult variation for your opponent to deal with.
