Trick shot Challenge

There are housands of players are doing this trick ! 

What I am talking about ?  Ok

In a match sometimes one player attack and the other one just reture a high ball for him from a long distance

Then the attacker hit the ball so weak in the table because the other player is so far from the table

When that player run to follow the ball he hits it right and move his hand to left.  or hit it left then move hlthe hand right .  confusing me 

How to know where is the ball is going or how to figure out ?  Because he hits the ball under the table
