I am an allround style player with topspin Chopper on my backhand side and energy x-tra on my forehand and have recently been learining to twiddle to confuse players. i feel this is good because it means i can really mix up my game and chop and attack all around the table. do you think twiddling is a good move for my game? i am a junior in Jersey, in the Channel Islands by the way, and the backhand chop pays off in long and short rallies because lifting backspin if found difficult over here. so my question is, is twiddling a good idea for my allround style and what would you recommend if not?
Hi Jack,
Yes twiddling can be really effective. Not having seen you play it is difficult to tell exactly, but players can be very effective by twiddling. The twiddling gives you another option and also gives your opponent one more thing to think about.
Find out how to twiddle and make the best use of your combination racket.
