Using backhand shortpip to serve

1. Can i use backhand shortpip to serve short and long backspin?

2. I use smooth in my fh and sp in my backhand; when i play 1:1 my opponent keep serve the ball to my fh , and my fh return serve with smooth sheet is no good; ahould i use my bh shortpip return the serve to my fh?

Hi Hai,

Yes you can use the short pimples to serve with. You will out generate as much spin as you would with the inverted rubber but you will still be able to generate some spin.

On the return you can move around and use the short pips on your backhand to make the return as well.  Give it a try and see how you cope with the next ball in the rally as well.
