I started playing 6 months ago so I'm not terribly advanced.  My main serve is the pendulum which is okay but I need a few variations. I tried the reverse pendulum but it just come out as a counter hit.  Which serves shall I learn. Thanks

Hi Benedict,

I would just work on the Pendulum serve for a while.  You don't need to have too many serves just be able to do them well.

You could perhaps also work on the Reverse Pendulum as your second serve.  If you are not getting the ball to spin think about brushing more around the outside of the ball.

You can also take a look through the lessons we have in our Serving Secrets course for lots more information on improving your serves.
