Hi PingSkills, i want to ask what warming should i do when away from table and when playing on the table ? My senior said that when warming up on the table, i must not put any spin on the ball because they'll know our ability and weakness they also said that it's better to drink before the match and not to eat anything is it true ? Please for the answer :D thank you very much

Hi Frendy,

Away from the table you can do some general stretches, jogging and movement to get the heart rate up.

On the table just do some simple counterhit strokes and then maybe a few topspins to see how they react to it.

If you have enough time you can eat something.  Something like a banana can be good.  Take a look at our previous blog on What to Expect at a Tournament. This may also give you a few ideas.

Just keep sipping on water.  You shouldn't drink so much that you feel uncomfortable.
