What are ways to relax after each point

Mental Preparation

Today i blew a 7 point lead and lost the game. 13-20 then 22-20.

I realized after it that had lost my focus and couldn't settle down. What are some advice on ways to be more mentally prepared for those situations?

Hi Chris,

I think one of the key things is to take your time.  Make sure you take a towel break when you can during this period.  Take the few moments to think about what strategy you are going to implement for the next point.

You can do some deep  breathing as well to help you to focus on the present moment rather than stressing about the fact you have started losing points or thinking about already winning the match.

I think also that developing a pre-point routine can help a lot.

Are you still playing 21 points games or was it some experiment?
