Just wondering what rubber is good and the blade. My friend says long pimple rubbers are illegal in tournaments but i dont really know. What rubber is good for attacking and defence and spin? And are there any good rubber in your store?
Hi Matthew,
Rubber is very much a matter of personal preference.
Long pimples are still OK to use. You just need to make sure they are approved by the ITTF. Click on the link for a list of approved rubbers.
For attacking use a faster reverse pimple rubber. For defense use a slower rubber or even a long pimple rubber.
In our store we have a few rubbers that are suitable for attacking play. Mark V is a great rubber for learning to attack with. Once you have mastered that I would recommend you move onto Yasaka Pryde rubber.
