At the moment I have rapid soft on both hands and the rubbers have gone dead. Should I buy them again? I'm just wondering because I have a competition this weekend.
Hi John,
I've never used the Tibhar Rapid Soft rubbers so I can't comment on these. Tibhar is a well known brand so I imagine these rubbers are just fine. As long as you were happy with the last set of rubbers then go ahead purchase them again.
If any of our readers have used Rapid Soft then please leave a comment for John.
If you are looking for something different then I can recommend Mark V or Sriver. Both these rubbers have been around for a long time and will allow you to develop your game to a very good level.
If you are after something even faster then you can try some of the Tensor rubbers. We recommend Yasaka Pryde which I think is like Mark V was when speed glued. If you are still after something faster then try the Xiom Omega III.
In this video we will discuss the differences between Inverted and short pimple rubbers. We will also cover the advantages and disadvantages of short pimple rubbers. Some of the advantages are that the ball travels lower and flatter over the net and that having one rubber short pimple and one rubber inverted provides variety making it more difficult for your opponent.

Hi John,
Jeff is correct in his suggestion...all the rubbers suggested and per internet community, seems good for looping. If you go for Xiom Omega III, please go for the Xiom Omega III EUROPEAN version which is softer sponge....it is because you are already used to Tibhar Rapid Soft....which is a softer sponge rubber
