Training
Dear Coach,
I got a table tennis board today. I've been looking through the videos and had trouble deciding which one to learn first. This my first time playing table tennis. So I've decided to ask you.
Hi Abby,
I think the best place to start is the Strokes & Technique page. Work your way down the page and see what you are competent at. Having good basic strokes is really important.
A slow spinny topspin can be very difficult to deal with. Think about using this type of loop in your game to draw errors from your opponent. Learn about some different ways to execute this stroke and find out if your opponent has difficulties with this type of ball.
