I have been playing Table Tennis for around 3 months and would like to improve my consistency. What training drills do you suggest?

Hi Charles,

Great that you have started to work on your skills. The best way to improve consistency is by getting out on the table and setting yourself some targets. The two key points to focus on are SOFTLY and STRAIGHT.

You can use the PingSkills Consistency Chart to assist you achieve your targets.

If you need any other information also check out our Most Important Skill Lesson in the Lessons section of our site.

Happy hitting!

If you can master this your opponents will find it difficult to stop you attacking and you will constantly have them under pressure.
