Hello everyone, i was recently using a Stiga Calibra LT sound rubber on the backhand side of my butterfly primorac rackete and it worked perfectly perfect for me as an attacker as i was able to hit a hilarious backhand using various fast shots and loops, and to mention i'm currently using tenergy 05 rubber on the forehand side which is also working perfect. Lately while i was playing the rackete got hit on the side of a table and my backhand rubber scratched and now i need to buy a new one. before doing so someone suggested to switch to tenergy 05 fx as the new backhand rubber, so i need recommendations about it whether to buy the same type of rubber which is stiga calibra lt sound as i was planning to, or go for tenergy 05 fx, thank you.

Hi Nadim,

I will let others comment on this but I think stay with the same as you were using if it is feeling good for you.

Energy 05FX is a very good rubber as well but is quite expensive.

Hello Nadim,

You will have less control with the Tenergy 05 fx on your backhand and since you are using a fast blade already and would require a learning curve, it wouldn't be a wise choice at this point. Here is your confirmation, what you described, you should stick with it because it sounds like the Stiga Calibra LT is a good fit for you!

If you like the Stiga Calibra LT then I can't see the point in changing. If you are using a high end rubber then changing to another similar spec high end rubber won't make much difference. So I agree totally with Mike, stick with the Calibra.
