Equipment
Hi coach,
I have been using Jonyer h-2 blade for a long time with mark V on forehand and friendship 729 on backhand. Now I have decided to use the mark V as my backhand and tibhar genius on my forehand. Should I go for Jonyer h-2 blade again? (my previous blade has been damaged unfortunately) Or should I choose the Joola Carbon? I usually use a lot of spin on my forehand topspins rather than speed and i use my backhand primarily for blocking and sometimes flicking. Is there any other option for blade that I can use?
HI NIlanjan,
I would stay with the Jonyer H-2. I think it is a nicely balanced blade for spin without too much speed.
However, it is always a personal preference. We also have the PingSkills Touch which would be suitable if you are looking for a change.
There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
