Well, my question is what do I need to perform 100% good at playing a topspin. Like use your hip, brush the ball above and things like that. And why do some of my topspins fly just over the table or go in net. I'm asking this because I lost a tournament today and It's just because 95% of the topspins I did were totally going wrong.
I hope you can answer this very difficult question, already watched the topspin against block video though.

Hi Khalid,

You are at the frustrated stage.  Unfortunately you need to go through that stage.  Keep practcing the stroke.  Concentrate on the basics of the topspin.  Your start and finish positions are crucial.  Of these I would say that the finish is the most important.  Stop your topspin at the end of each stroke and make sure you are in the correct finish position.  If you are you can't go too far wrong.

During a tournament lots of other things can go wrong such as you may have tightened up a little for your strokes.

Practice the strokes lots at a slow pace, makign sure you are going for consistency.
