hi coach,

which rubber is the best amongst yasaka mark 5 yasaka pryde and tenergy 05? i like to smash hard,play spinny loops and topspin the ball? is 2.2 mm thickness is allowed according to ittf rules....i want to know which blade will be suited with those rubbers....

Hi Aman,

All those rubbers will allow you to topspin and play spinny loops.

The Tenergy is the fastest and spiniest of the three followed by Pryde and then Mark V.

You should choose a rubber that will also allow you enough control. You need to have a very good base of skills and have been playing for many years to handle Tenergy.

Smashing and counterhitting with Tenergy is extremely powerful.

I've recently bought Tenergy 5 on Timo Boll ZLF blade.. WooooW, what a spin and what a powerfull back spin!!! my opponant said that he feels just like hitting a stone when he returns my top spin. But really it needs weeks and perhaps months to handle it.
