I have been a fan of Zhang Jike ever since I've watched him play and that's like 2 years.....and I have most often noticed that he generally starts his rallies with a backhand.....even when returning the serves he uses his backhand no matter which side of the table the ball is placed or whether the ball is back spin or topspin....

What do you call this technique and could you show how to do this one??? I've tried a lot of times ....but i just can't get enough power or speed into the move...

Hi Sandesh,

Take a look at our lesson on the Backhand Sidespin Flick.  This is what he is using for most returns of serve.  It is a very advanced stroke and difficult to learn.
