If my opponent blocks my 3rd ball attack, should I drive the ball back or loop the ball back?

It is better to drive the 5th ball but make sure you put some topspin on the ball to keep it down.
I find a to of players lift that ball off the end because of the subtle variation in spin that is coming to them.
