Alois,

Who inspired you to play tt and who was your coach?

Alois Rosario
Alois Rosario Answered 11 years ago

Hi Bryan,

My mother was Indian National champion in 1960 so I used to watch her play.  I enjoyed the game a lot, initially hitting the ball against the wall for hours.  She was my first coach.  Then I had several others help me through my playing time.

Her name is Prisca Rosario.  She won the title in 1960 just a year after being told she would not live through the night.  She had been runner up a few times before winning the title.

Hi Alois Rosario and others,

I'm an Indian, surprised to see many Indian players on this site; I am asking whether there are any T.T players in Bhubaneswar, Orissa. When ever I play I have no partner so I have to wall practice. So, if any one of you are from Bhubaneswar please contact me and and we can play. First time I saw Alois, I thought he was South American but surprisingly he is Indian.
