i used to use anti spin and im thinking about using again but i dont want it to change my game a lot and im an attacker who uses the butterfly timo ball zlf and challenge po sp backhand and dignics 09c i was wondering if going back to butterfly super anti would change much i block a lot with my short pips

Hi Dayton,

If you want to attack more then Anti spin probably isn't the right choice.

It will give you a different ball on the backhand that can be difficult for your opponent to deal with but just see what type of game you are really trying to play.

What should be the tactics for playing against anti spin.

HI Suresh,

The first thing is to understand the reaction off the anti spin.  Understanding that if you play with topspin it will come back to you with backspin and vice versa.

Then get the ball that you want by giving the spin that is necessary.  If you like the ball to come to you with topspin, then play a backspin ball to the anti spin. One of the other things that is often helpful when starting out is to not use sidespin.  This tends to complicate the response off the rubber.
