morning coach,
for more whip, spin & speed from FH loops - should i mainly concentrate on weight transfer/torque/putting my hip into the shot or would some band exercises (or 1 lb weight) help increasing my arm swing speed? thanks,

Hi Andy,
I wold focus on the speed of your arm in particular then the wrist and hand, this is where you are really going to get the advantage with generating speed and spin.
The other parts of your body also help towards the overall coordination and generation of speed and spin as we show you in the tutorial on the Advanced Forehand Topspin.
The forehand block is one way to counter a topspin stroke hit to your forehand side. Learn this stroke and you will be able to keep yourself in the rally even when your opponent get the first attack in.
