Strokes
Is it good to use core strength when attacking?
Hi Ahri,
I think this is a good way to think of it. This will stop your arms and shoulders working too hard and tensing up during the strokes. Power does come from your core and your legs.
The key is to countering a chop block is to ensure you wait for the ball as it comes through much slower compared to a normal block. You also need to lift the ball more than you would against a regular block.
