Dear coach, I try to play proper backhand in my game. But i am confuse when should I play backhand counterhit or backhand flick? What is the function of backhand counterhit in game? Thanks, Best wishes, Somchai

Hi Somchai,

When the ball is short you can make the flick stroke.  The counterhit is used more as a control shot in the rally.  It isn't used very much as you would normally either block or topspin the ball.
