Strokes
Dear Alios/Jeff,
For my backhand drive, my racket should make some 45 degree angle with the table in principle, but when I start playing, my racket (bat) faces upward making more than 90 degree angle. I tried my hardest to maintain this racket angle, but in vain. When I make this angle, the ball ends up hitting the net. I even watched a lot of YouTube videos about it, I could not help myself.
How can I fix this problem of racket angle?
Thanks in advance.
Rai, Netherlands
Hi Rai,
Focus on the finish position of the racket that we show you. Think about the bat being in a position like you are taking a 'Selfie' with the forehand side of your bat. If you get it to there, you will get the racket at the right angle.
