Backhand hit from below the table

Hi,will you guys please make a video about how to backhand smash a ball that comes under table-level? Also i'm having some trouble with getting spin on the ball, what should I do? Thanks very much! Greetings from Belgium!

Hi Lennert,
If the ball is that low you need to make a topspin stroke. A smash is not a viable option because the ball will not have enough spin to get up and down in time to land on the table.
To get spin on the ball you need to brush the ball on contact.
Take a look at our lesson on the Backhand Topspin Off Backspin as this will give you a good idea of how to get enough spin on the ball to get that sort of shot back.

But my racket just doesn't seem to make spin when i brush the ball!
it's an Artengo racket but i think it's like 7 years old.

Hi Lennert,
That will be the major problem. Your rubber is probably dead.
You will need to change the racket or change the rubber on the current blade.
