How to make an effective backhand serve and what about the tossing should it be lower or higher? Could you make a video?

Hi Dario,

You can try to toss the ball both low and high and see what feels comfortable.  I find you need a little time to get your hand out of the way.  You can also think about whether you start with your bat above your free hand or below.

Try to utilise your wrist as much as you can on the serve.  You can also modify your grip a little by loosening your hold slightly.  This will allow you to get more whip through the wrist and therefore more spin.

We have a section on the backhand serve in our Serving Secrets section.
