Hi Alois and Jeff how do you return a short no spin or light backspin serve? I know how to do a backhand flick but if the opponent positions it short to my forehand or in short in the crossover point i'm caught out flicking it in the net or chopping it and it goes a bit too high, how do i attack or return it effectively without putting myself out of position or losing a point?

Hi Shea,

You could try to move right over and play it with your backhand like a lot of the top players do.  However, if you feel like this is putting you too far out of place, work on your forehand flick technique.  Take a look at our lesson on the Forehand Flick.
