Strokes
hi,
i saw michael maze doing the backhand sidespin and i tried to do that but i faild,
can you make a video about how to do backhand sidespin?
Hi David,
That is something we haven't got to yet. The main thing is to use the wrist during the stroke. Drop your wrist to get the ball to curve left to right and lift your wrist to get the ball to curve right to left. Try to keep the rest of your stroke similar to a normal topspin.
We will try to make a video on this in the next few months.
The banana flick has become one of the most important returns in table tennis. It allows you to attack almost any short ball and places your opponent under immediate pressure. Still it is a difficult stroke that takes a lot of practice to master.
