Backhand topspin

Hi I love ur work and i want to know the angle of bat,wrist,elbow,shoulder at start and finish position and my balance and which part of my arm is responsible for performing the backhand topspin and how to make backhand sidespin topspin thanks.

Hi Moeman,

Firstly you are trying to break it down too much.  This will just lead to too many problems.

Some basics to answer your quesitons, the bat starts vertical or a little forward of that.  The stroke is mainly the forearm and wrist with the upper arm helping with the follow through.

Take a look at the lessons and think basically about the start and finish positions and work from there.  Once you start thinking too much about each angle you will undoubtably get yourself too self concious about the detail.  Look more at the result of what is happening to the ball and  adjust that.
