Hi Alois and Jeff,

I've seen your videos for quite some time and so far you people gave the best table tennis online coaching I've ever seen, keep up the good work.

My question today is about my skill level and finding a club. I've only started playing table tennis at December 2008 which is last year. I could do forehand and backhand counterhitting, pushing, and forehand topspin against backspin. But my forehand topspin against backspin and consistency hitting is still not very strong.

I can only train my skills at the Singapore Table Tennis Association once a week. But I would like to train more every week. Should I find a club or wait until I'm good enough? My consistency is also not very good yet. I am also having trouble finding a club in my Country/Area. I live in Singapore.

I hope you guys will help me in this. Thank you so much.

Hi Zhi Hao,

It is never too early to join a club.  I think you really need to be around other players and be able to see them play to improve.  You will also learn a lot from playing against different players.

At PingSkills we try to give you the experience of being ablt to see some correct images of strokes that will help you.  Playing at a club will hlp this same aspect and really help you.

Go to the Singapore Table Tennis Association Contact Page and find out more.
