Training
Hi Alois.
What is the best ball machine (robot) that's on the market these days. My wife and i are advanced players (we play the state and National Veterans) and we are wanting a machine that can deliver all types of spin etc)
Is there a machine that is the "go to" for elite players or can you recommend one.
Thanks
Joe
Ps. Love the content and delivery on your site
Hi Joe,
There are a few good ones around. I like the Butterfly Amicus robots. They have plenty of options and can vary the amount and type of spin from one ball to the next. You can also program a series of balls.
Others may have ideas about other robots that are useful.
Thanks for the kind words about the site. Nice to know it is helping.
It's important that you assess your opponent's skill level and your own skill level. Using this information you can then decide how much risk you need to put into your game. If your opponent is a lot more consistent than you, you may need to go for a bit more on each of your shots to try and force an error.
