Which angle of the wrist and bat should be maintained when counter looping, forward loop or top spin to make the loop all the time.

Hi Raymond,

This will depend on the amount of spin and speed on the ball coming to you.

If there is a lot of spin and speed then you need to turn your angle down more to keep the ball down.  If there is less spin or less speed you can open the angle of your racket.

The other factor to think about is the grip and speed of your own rubber.  The more grip and or speed the more you can turn your bat over the top of the ball.

Countering a Chop Block

The key is to countering a chop block is to ensure you wait for the ball as it comes through much slower compared to a normal block. You also need to lift the ball more than you would against a regular block.
