Hi coach

I am a beginner.  I wanted to know that when you need to change your racket wat are the steps or stages when you need to change your bat.

Hi Atharva,

I think the first bat you should get is a bat with good control however it needs reasonable quality rubber to allow you to learn the strokes.

After a year or so then you could move on to a Custom made racket.  This will be slightly faster and the rubber will be even better quality that will allow more speed and spin.

Then after another year or so you may start to think about upgrading the rubber on the same blade to something a bot faster and with more spin.  this timing will depend on the development of your game and how much time you have spent on the table.

From there the changes are personal depending on the speed of development and the likes of the player.

Hi Atharva, Rubbers tend to last for around 80 playing hours. After that you'll need to replace them. I'd recommend trying Mark V next but there are plenty of good table tennis rubbers you can choose from.

Yes the blade will be OK.  You can just use Mark V rubber on both sides.  It will make it simpler.

It looks like the glue is legal.  I am not sure how good it is though.
