Hi coach,

I am going out for 45 days to my hometown. I have had previous experience that whenever i stop playing the game of table tennis for some time i forget each and every stroke and get defeated with some of the opponents whom i used to defeat in 1,11 or 2,11.

I am feeling very bad for this. Can you suggest some ways in which i can keep relation with the game if i have only the bat and ball and no table or opponent.

Another thing is how to play with the wall ?

Your help is needed.

Hi Chandrachur,

Firstly your body doesn't forget that easily.  It is a matter of just allowing yourself to play and adjust to the short time away.

Take a look at our lesson on Practicing Alone.  This will give you some good ideas.

You just need to do the best you can.  Work as well as you can.  There is no specific distance from the wall.  Try to get it at a similar distance as a Table Tennis Table.
