Bat Touching the Table

Is it considered as a foul if my bat hits the court while the ball is still in play ?.....will my opponent get a point ?...

Hi Girish,

No it is not a foul. The only thing that isn't allowed to touch the table is your free hand. It is quite OK for your bat to touch the table.

You aren't allowed to touch the net though with your bat.

Touching the Table

Are you allowed to touch the table during play? The only thing that isn't allowed to touch the table is your free hand. You leg, elbow, playing hand, and even your bat are allowed to. You are not allowed to move the table however.
