I used to play with short pips on my two sides for two years. now I play smooth on my forehand.

What are the major differences on my strokes between these two rubbers?

Hi Jorge,

With the smooth rubber, you will be able to generate more spin.  The stroke changes because you can come over the ball a little more.

The pimples you tend to have a more open face of the bat and hit flatter.

Let us know how you adapt.
