Hi Timmy,

Use a blade and rubber that have good control.  You certainly do not want to use anything that is too fast until you develop your technique much more.

I haven't used the Hybrid Wood but it looks quite an advanced blade with a speed rating of 10.  The reviews I have read seem to say it has quite good control as well.  I certainly do not think that you need to go to anything faster at this stage, even slower may be better.

Develop your control first.
