Hi coach,
i'd like to ask you about starting playing table tennis at 19 years old (with a little practice before that). if i start training SERIOUSLY and INTENSIVELY (at least 3 hours a day) can i become a professional player...bearing in mind that i developed to a great extent just within 6 months.
thanks too much for your website and your valuable help .
Hi Masho,
You are certainly doing it the hard way. Just focus on improving a sfast as you can. Practice well and then see where you get to. Nothing I say will help or restrict you. Professional players are of a hugely varying standard.
Just go for it and see where you can reach.
Dimitrij Ovtcharov has an unusual backhand serve where he gets very low in the beginning. The serve works well for him but there are a few disadvantages that might make it difficult for other people to replicate his success.
