Hi coaches I was just wondering if the handle of the blade really affect anything significant? I  know flared is better for forehand and what not but do the handles restrict you from doing certain serves or anything? What type of handles do you guys use and why do you prefer it? Thanks I was just wondering!

Hi Tim,

The handle is purely a matter of fel and preference.

I use a flared handle just because it feels better in my hand. Just pick up a few bats and see which fits best for you.

Different handles do not aid or restrict strokes at all.
